Eric is one of those stand out designers you wish you had multiples of on your team. I was fortunate enough to work with Eric during his time at Walmart where we collaborated on projects in the automotive space. Eric is an amazing collaborator, sharing his learnings and experiences with other designers on the team elevating everyone's projects. I have worked with Eric on and off since 2001 and highly recommend him. I first met him when I hired him at Media Arts Group where he had many roles including art direction, presentation layer development, sound design, original music production, and even some UX design for a ton of projects varying from online ads to 3-tier web sites. Eric is a veritable Swiss Army knife. He is extremely talented, incredibly efficient, and super fun to work with. We have worked at four different companies over the years and I hope we can work together again some day.

Eric is your go to person for design thinking. I had the opportunity to work with Eric on a high profile project at Walmart. We spent several days in a brainstorming session together. During this time I got to see Eric shine. He helped lead the session and collaborated well with the other participants. Eric brought great ideas to the team and helped other participants open up get their ideas out. Eric was able to take all the workshop ideas and create solid experiences that showcased the ask from our product owners and needs of our users. I wish I could have worked more with Eric. He is a great collaborator and always a positive force to have in the room. Eric would be a great addition to any team he is on!

I had the pleasure of working and sharing an office with Eric at Walmart. Throughout the high visibility initiative we collaborated on, Eric gracefully and seamlessly balanced executive demands with the customer perspective. I really enjoyed working with Eric at Razorfish Portland on Best Buy, Microsoft, and Coors Light. Eric is a talented art director, designer, and musician as well as an all around good guy. As a young designer, I often looked to his work as an inspiration for my own and often came to him for advice which he was always willing to give.
